Frequently asked
How does the check work?+
We treat the boot and the object as boxes and try all six orientations. If every one of the three dimensions fits in at least one orientation, it fits. We do not allow diagonals or squeezing into rounded corners, and we assume the rear seats are up and the parcel shelf is in place.
Why does it say "only just" when the numbers fit?+
Anything with less than 8 cm of clearance on its tightest axis gets called tight. Boot floors are not perfectly rectangular, the arches slope, and the shelf sags, so a couple of centimetres on paper often disappears in reality.
My object is not listed. Can I type my own size?+
Yes. Choose "Custom size" and enter the three dimensions in centimetres or inches. The same check runs against every car we have measured.
